Zack was awarded Student of the Month on Thursday! I was so proud of him!! He worked hard to earn this award. If you remember my blogs from the beginning of the school year, he was a chatter box in class. He has brought that under control.
Such a sweet little face...
Yesterday we spent part of the beautiful sunny day at our favorite beach - Seal Beach. The people there are just nice and down to earth. We also went to Corona Del Mar, but there we always seem to encounter so much RUDENESS!
We went to the Vans Skate Park to celebrate Zack's great week at school.
He has mastered the large half pipe now. He is just working on his grinding skills now as in trying to learn how to grind!!! There were many a dad telling their kid to follow Zack around because he could teach them stuff because he is not afraid to fall down. I just smiled because Zack cried the first time he dropped into a mini half pipe, but I made him try it 10 times. That is all it took, and his fear was conquered!!! He felt so accomplished. I'm not sure most parents could push through seeing the intitial tears to get their kids to a point where they can enjoy something they truly wanted to learn how to do.
Sophia enjoyed the fountain at The Block despite a pretty high fever!
My little diva...
A healthy smoothy was all she'd eat!
We spent a fun night at the McMain's House!!! We love them so much! This is Jennifer who the kids ADORE! She is a BLAST!!!

Go Zach! He looks adorable skating and that is awesome he is doing so well at school. Julian is not doing as well, of course he has only been home 6 months. I think part of the problem is his teacher. :( Bummer. I think he is doing pretty well, all things considered. The girls are doing great.
I've been meaning to ask you what the name of the CD you used for math was. We could definitely stand to listen to that in the car a bit. I want them to know their math facts from memory and not sit there figuring out each one.
Those are two adorable kiddos who look like they are enjoying life! Good job, mama!
