Sophia's First Softball Practice

Today was Sophia's first softball practice. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I knew I'd be teary eyed! She is just getting big so fast. I still think of her as my baby, and I couldn't imagine her actually catching a ball in her glove!

She did indeed catch the ball in her glove several times over...

She is very alert and pays close attention to what the coach is saying. She's very driven to get things right. For any that know her, I'm sure this comes as no surprise!

I'm not sure what the girl behind Sophia is thinking but maybe just maybe Sophia gave her some instructions she didn't like! That would be just like Sophia!

Sophia had so much fun in practice. It was nice to see her in on the action with Zack watching. What a change that was and a good one! He was cheering her on which made me so proud of him. I love when little character traits shine through!
