Short Update

I pretty much forgot about my blog long ago, but just in case anyone still stops by to check in on these two Russian beauties, I thought I'd post a recent pic and a short update.  Zack is now 15 and a sophomore in high school.  Sophia is just about 14 and in 8th grade this year.  Both are thriving.  Zack has a 4.0 and excels at cross country.  Sophia continues to LOVE soccer and is super athletic.  She is also the more driven kid I've ever met.  Teachers LOVE her.  So blessed to be their momma.  It's truly passing by far too quickly!!!  So awesome to get to be part of their journey!

Sky Ranch Camp Summer 2014

This year we decided that Zack and Sophia were ready for sleep away camp!  It was an easy decision in May, but when June 29th rolled around, it was tough!  Dropping them off was a little teary for me. Neither of them were phased in the least.  

Here are a few pics from the pics that the camp has posted online this week.  None are great pics, but I am thankful we have something.

Sky Ranch 2014

I just dropped Zack (12) and Sophia (10) off at their first week of sleep away camp.  I have mixed emotions!!  I think they will have a TON of fun, but I know I am going to spend all week wondering what exactly they're up to each day!

As you can tell, they are very independent and had no issues telling their mother goodbye for six nights!!
