Borrowed Wishes

We had a nice lunch today at a place where Sophia could spend time playing in a "wishing well"! Her wishes were borrowed though because I had no coins. She quickly figured out she could borrow some coins by rolling up her sleeves. She'd fish out the coins and throw them right back into the water! She would even come back to the table between each throw to dry her wet hands! She is so funny about the whole cleanliness thing!

My little girl is getting way too big way too fast! A lady in the grocery store said, "She has such a cute voice." Somehow that made me melancholy. I started realizing that I am going to miss her little voice one day. I ask Sophia to stay small but to no avail. She gives me a long list of reasons that she needs to get big - roller coasters, boyfriends, cars, a job, money... Boy, she's a thinker.

In a few short weeks, she'll be in preschool. I am treasuring every moment I have with her at home. I can't wait until summer is here, and summer fun can begin!
