Some things about this weekend weren't so pleasant, to say the least, HOWEVER, what was awesome was getting to spend time with all four of the kids for the entire weekend! We really had a blast, and I hope we can do it again soon!
We are fortunate to live in a community where it is half country half city. It really is a great big playground for kids and adults alike. The best part is that it is pretty much just a lot of space in which to play. I don't take advantage of it half as much as I should, but today we did for sure!
We rode our bikes to Shave It! The kids love shaved ice!
And what is better after a long bike ride than a cool drink of water and a dip in the pool?!
Life really just goes by entirely too fast. I, for one, find it hard sometimes to remember this!!! Days like today help me to remember that even when life is less than perfect, there are so many joys still to be had. And, those joys can't be taken even by well-meaning people. :)
