Today was a busy day! We got four new tires on our car which was incredibly cool since the steel was beginning to show through! The kids were intrigued with the way they put the tires on. I was simply thrilled that I no longer had to worry about a blow out with two young ones in the car!
This evening, we went over to some friends' house for dinner and fellowship. The kids had a blast. I would post pictures, but I left my camera at their house - doh! It was strange tonight because Sophia was very spooked by the darkness and any little noise she heard caused her strife. I just kept telling her she was safe with all of us grown ups around. She was not convinced!
This is a new thing with her so I'll have to watch it closely to see if there's anything behind the fear. I think she just feels a wee bit unsettled as do we all. That'll get better really soon.
Sunday, we'll try a new church and hopefully hook into the Sunday school program as well as the midweek services for the kids. It's been a while since I've regularly attended church, and I have to admit, I am excited to go back but also a little nervous. I think God has some work to do on this heart of mine.

Zack must have loved that. I can imagine Sophia being all over the place like the day we picked up the trucks from the rental shop in Corona. Sophia need not be scared she has Zack to protect her.
