An Aweseome Day on the Water

We spent Sunday on the Pontoon and Sea Doo on Lake Lewisville, and we had a BLAST!!!

Fun times with the fam!!! Aunties, Uncles, and Kids - Fun Times!

We had the music playing and there was lots of dancing goin' on!
Mike started out taking each kid on the water! We'd throw them in the lake and he'd pick scoop them up (motor off) for a ride. He took Josh full throttle, and Josh is still braggin' about it!

We had some diving fun as well! The kids were all jumping off of the back of the pontoon doing various "tricks"!

Even Sophia got in on the fun! That girl has no fear!!!
The kids had such a great time hanging out on the pontoon, giggling, dancing, jumping, and playing.
And, more dancing...
I even got in on the action! I love spending time on the Sea Doo. I am super slow with the kids, but when I'm out there alone, I like to get crazy! Mike and Ken caught some awesome air! It was a bit windy yesterday so the waves were bigger than normal so sometimes the air caught was unexpected!

Zack hangs with Gina to keep warm (he is always cold!). And, then Gina pulls in the anchor as Ken and Mike look on!

Gina loves driving the pontoon. Me thinks she likes the power! LOL
Which brings me to Stephanie's story...
When we first went out on the water, we were tossing the kids in the water to swim to the Sea Doo as they were taking turns. So, Stephanie jumped in and swam over to the Sea Doo (against the current) and she has some trouble climbing on, but she did it. She had some fun tooling around with Mike.
At that point, we yelled out that we were going to go closer to shore to anchor. They were following behind slowly as Steph was nervous with Mike driving. Well, after about 15 to 20 minutes separated and Gina telling me she thought something happened, we went back to look for them.
They had been thrown off by hitting a wave side ways, and Steph could not get back on due to fighting the current. Long story short, we got there as a man and his family were pulling her on to their boat!!!! They delivered her to us, and we went on our way. Sophia was very upset when she saw Stepha on that other boat. She said, "Stepha needs to be HERE." So, when Steph got on our boat, Sophia was very relieved.
Stephanie told us the story of her falling in three times and getting back on, but the last fall her arms were just too tired. She did not have her life jacket on so she was having to tread water. She finally ended up crying, and begging Mike to go back and get the boat that had offered help. She said, "I was being like mom the first time the boat came by." Mom doesn't like to solicit help. She said, then I was just like either I get help of I'm gonna be shark bait. She was afraid of what was going to nibble on her toes under the water. She hated the feeling of dangling!
So, this story sounds super tramatic and it was for her at the time, but I swear that five minutes after we had her on our boat, she was joking and laughing her booty off! She is a very good sport. Once we anchored, she went back out on the Sea Doo alone and LOVED it!!!! She said, "Oh, it is way different when I am in control."
We had an awesome day, and we can't wait to get back out there hopefully one more time before the weather changes! Below is a pic of the good sport! I love her so much!!!!

Here you are! Finally catching up to you....looks good down there....you are missed in CA, too! Can't believe Sophie jumping off the boat--she is fearless. My granddaughter's won't even get back on our pontoon boat---there is a story there. Enjoyed looking at the pics (all of them)and seeing what has transpired over the summer. Miss you
