Move in day is March 26th which marks 4 years from our court date in Russia!!!! What a way to celebrate gotcha day!!

Sophia's first grade musical was tonight! She wanted to be a cheetah so I was forced to take a crash course in face painting. What do you think? Not to bad, eh?

The musical was wonderful. I have to say that the kids' current elementary school has had the best programs I've ever seen at a primary school.

Sophia Loves Soccer

In the picture above, you see mostly number 19 of the opposing team, but look a little closer and you'll notice some goalie gloves around a soccer ball! Those hands are Sophia's! The opposing team shot on the goal and it was like a bullet to Sophia's face. Instead of ducking or protecting her face, she reached out and caught the ball turning her head so that the ball would not get her dead in the nose. It was AMAZING! Her coach emailed me today: "That girl is a monster"!!! "She is incredible"! Her team won 5-0 and she blocked 5 goals in a single quarter as goalie. :) I am proud of our little crazy girl!

Isn't she getting big?! I am going to miss her little girl years. They are passing FAR too quickly.
